Okay, we are back for our systems section. Which systems are also probably like a lot like mindset where it's like, I don't want to talk about it. It's not sexy, and I want to just, you know Blaze past it. But here's the beautiful part, when we can master our mindset and master our systems. This is when you skyrocket your business business. This is when everything feels easier, more fun, you're not getting caught in the weeds, you're not sucking up your precious time. So I want you to think about when I say systems, what comes to mind for you and your business. Okay, when I say systems, what comes to mind for you and your business. Because systems are very, very much customized to each business, I never teach that you have to be in a certain software to be successful, I will share what I use and what I do. But every business is different. Every human is different. So it's very, very customized and very, very personal to you. Which is exciting. So all right. When we think that systems we think of order. I love that. Who else? When I say systems, what do you think about? I think systems to me is a way to save time, right? I want to save as much time as possible. Documentation. I love that. Good. Who else? So systems are not just for your business. They're for your whole entire life. So as we're getting back into your biz, for these next 90 days, we really want to challenge ourselves to see where the holes are. Our actual like framework, our process for what we teach to make lots of money. Do you guys want me to show you what that is really quickly. We call it our moolah ladder. So this is all of our programming is shaped around this process. Do we want to see it? I've never publicly shown it before. So if you want to see it, drop it. Yes. And the chat. Super excited about it. Okay, cool. So let me go ahead and show that to you here. So this is our specific framework for making more moolah, as we like to say, let me go ahead and present it here. There we go. Okay, so this is the moolah ladder. So, intentionally today started with mindset, right? So I want you to think of like an actual physical ladder and how you climb that ladder is taking it one step at a time. So that's how the our framework our process was designed. Now the beautiful part about the moola ladder, is you can go up and down. So there may be a day or even a half day where you're in mindset, and then you jump up to systems or you jump up to work on your team, right? But I love looking at this because you can really see a clear path to become your wealthiest self to get to the top of your moolah ladder. So we already worked on mindset this morning. Now we're going to be working on systems. Okay. And then from there, I'm not going to go into full detail but we really work on like your core offer, and maximizing what that poor offer is mastering your marketing and then selling your core offer to $100,000 is key. So this could be one on one coaching, this could be a service that you provide, this could be a certain rake advancement, this could be one clear way to make over $100,000 and sales and or commission in one calendar year. And the reason why we made this be one of the first steps in the moolah ladder is when you can create that much cash and your business, we can do so much more that's going to supercharge the rest of the moola ladder to go so much faster, which is why team is absolutely Next, we can really hire that virtual assistant, right, we can hire that graphic designer, we've got the cash in order to do it. And then the beautiful part from that is then we've gotten so much feedback from your $100,000 offer. And more like you don't have to just stop at $100,000 for your core offer. But we have so much knowledge and experience and testimonials, that we can build out passive products, and then create passive marketing. So passive marketing is blogging, ads, podcasting, YouTubing, etc. These more long term strategies that can be working in the background for you. Like right now we have four ads running, that are doing all the heavy lifting, and I don't have to necessarily sell, right, it's going out and finding people. And then it's coming back to us and then going into our ecosystem. So from there, we go to life automation, which is like hiring the house cleaner, hiring the meal prep person, right? Hiring, maybe a nanny, right? Having people help you and your life and automating it as much as you can. We then work on your millionaire mindset. Because as you are progressing, and we have all of these passive products we have a core offer, we're going to need an even stronger mindset. And then we start really accomplishing like your 10, big lifetime goals. And then from there, as we're accomplishing your 10 lifetime, big goals, we want to invest and give back. Okay. So that's really our process. Of course, we're learning all along the way. Remember, we're gonna grow until we get it. So learning is never ending, I never want to stop learning myself. And so, like I mentioned earlier, you can go up and down the ladder as much as you want. But it gives you an order of importance. Too often, people jump to oh my gosh, I'm going to create a podcast or I'm going to create a YouTube channel, which is more a passive marketing strategy. But yet, they haven't really done any of these other things down here. And they can still be successful. But we've just seen this process work so well. And it's helpful to know where you're at to know where you want to go next. So we can actually make this all work easier. And have way way more fun. So we're going to be focusing on systems next. And then today we'll be talking about your sales goals in general. So but if you want support with anything else on here, that's where we're we come in. Okay, so I just wanted to show you that to you. So you can really see what we do. And be able to see if it could benefit you. On the moolah ladder. I'm curious, where do you feel like you're currently at? Where do you feel like you're currently at? On the moola ladder? Where do you feel like you're at? Erica said, this helps so much for not getting lost in the weeds? Yes. No more lost in the weeds. Okay, Jackie said core offer. Erica said mindset. So when you coach with us, I will always ask you where you're at, on the ladder, because that helps me to know how I can coach and support you. Right? If you're in the millionaire mindset versus level one mindset that's very, very different. Or if you're on passive, passive marketing, versus like, regular marketing, then those looks so different. So it really is a great tool for us to communicate together of where you're at. So I can really support you marketing core offer at the end of systems and the beginning of core offer once the rebranding is done. Yay, so good. I'm curious also, do you have 10 At least 10 lifetime goals written down your 10 lifetime top goals. So this would be a great pairing with your wealthiest self really deciding on your top 10 If only 10 big goals could happen in your life? What would those 10 be? That could be a really great exercise to accomplish this weekend. So Do we really know what's important to you? Okay, so that is another piece of homework, lots of homework, but all good things, all good things. So your top 10 goals, top 10 lifetime goals, okay? It can be so helpful to know that now. So we can make decisions that are in alignment with those top 10 goals, right. So for example, if you wanted to live 100%, debt free, it may not make sense to go out and get another credit card, right. So we really want to make sure we're in alignment with what you want to create. So we can create it now. I don't want you to feel like you're living two different lives, we're actually living the same life as our wealthiest self, we just haven't arrived there yet. Right? So when we can work towards it, we're in the same world. We're just not at the destination yet. So I want us to really think through what that is. So that way, we can move towards it so much faster. And the cool part about the top 10 goals is more than likely, most if not all of them require money, right? Which is actually a really exciting thing. Because you have a beautiful business that can make lots of money. Right? I think it's so exciting that we are actually 100% Commission base. I love deciding what I want to make. No one else decides that for me. I've shared the story before, but years ago, when I was working and getting paid, essentially, like 10 $15 an hour I was on salary. So that's why I say 10 to 15. Because it's like I put in a lot of hours. So it's really hard to decide what that was. But it was about 10 to $15 an hour as it averaged out. But I was requesting a higher salary. And I remember the budget meeting. And I went in and I was so like, I talked about the facts, like why I deserved this salary increase. And then I had to go out of the room and wait for the decision to be made. And to be to look back and think of her and how nervous she was if they were gonna say yes, if they were gonna say no. You know, begging is what it felt like begging for my self worth. And when I came back in the room, and the decision was no, it was gut wrenching. It was so frustrating. And I remember going home that night. And as I was driving home crying, it felt so defeating. Like, I know, I deserved it, I worked my ass off. And you when you're only getting paid 10 to $15 an hour, it's really hard to get to your wealthy itself, right? It was actually one of the most beautiful, profound moments, when I look back on like, although it was so painful. I may not be sitting here right now, if it weren't for that moment. So when you are in moments like that, instead of questioning why it's happening, I really want you to lean into it and ask yourself what you're going to do about it. That's when I decided to create my business. I wanted no one from there on out to decide what my salary gets to be, what my paycheck gets to be. I wanted that full control. It's pretty exciting. So again, it can be scary. When you're full commission, you're like holy shit, like, if I don't produce, I don't get paid, right? Or, again, shift your mindset of like, oh, no, I am going to produce, I will I will make the 200 calls. I will knock on however many doors I will do ever, like however many Facebook Lives I need to do whatever it needs to be to create the wealth that I desire. So when we can shift into that mindset, and really decide that I am in the driver's seat, and that's actually an exciting thing. Then you are you have all the power to create your wealthy life. And no one gets to decide it for you. But you so freaking exciting. So exciting. So with that being said, in order to create the money that we desire systems are such a huge part of it. So we can actually make this easier. Okay, if you're running around with your head cut off 24/7 You're burning so much energy that we could use for sales, right so So I want you to think about how often are we looking for things in your house? How often do we not know what we're doing on our to do list looking for passwords. We don't know what is on our calendar, because we have five different calendars, right? We burn so much precious energy, by not slowing down for a hot second to implement systems in order to be able to speed up and then use that time that we were burning to actually put into sales. Right? So sales are so personal to you. So I wanted this section to be really customized to you. So give me feedback in the chat of what feels chaotic in your life and your business right now. Okay, what feels chaotic in your life, and you know your business right now? Is it the laundry? Is it what's for dinner? Is it you don't have a you know, an organized calendar? You don't know what to dues you're supposed to do? Okay, what feels chaotic in your world right now. I'm gonna give you a second to think and then just drop some deets in the chat. What feels chaotic to you right now. Okay, so things added to the list faster than I can check them off. So is the list too big? Is it does it feel like almost impossible to get the list done? free to unmute to if you want to. Okay. Yes, more than one person can handle. Okay, cool. So we get to work through that. All right. All right process for following up with clients after a strategy meeting. Okay, so we get to work on that. You guys are gonna get a little flavor of hotseat coaching today for those that are OnLive too many calendars and planners at the same time. Okay, good. We can we can fix that. Getting organized and identifying strategy for a new role rebalancing me good. Jackie notebooks, I have notebooks all over all with all different information. When I go to look, I am not sure where I put the information. Okay. All right, getting started in building my business, can you give me a little bit more context with that, getting started with building my business, like, we don't know where to start. Or there's just so many things to do. So just give me a little bit more context there. And we're gonna we're gonna Hot Seat coaching, we're in a hot seat coach, this all of these things. So the more feedback you give me, the more personalized support you're gonna get, which means we're going to like solve these problems, we're gonna solve all the problems as quickly as possible, okay. And here's the cool part about systems versus mindset. Systems are so much more mechanics, like mechanics, which means we can we can blaze through them so much faster. Okay, systems equally come down to habits, I can give you the solutions today. But if we are not going to use them, right, be consistent, be disciplined in them that they're not going to work, right. So we do want to really work through habit building as well. Because if we like I can tell you how to condense your notebooks. But if we continue to have the habit of using multiple notebooks, but it's not working, then the chaos is going to continue to go. Okay, so my goal today in this section is what we tame the chaos to save you time. So then when we talk about sales here in a little bit, we can actually have the time we need to build the business of your dreams. Okay. So this is essentially a prerequisite to sales. It's really going to help your sales explode. Okay. Yay. Leah says the scavenger hunt has helped her solve this problem to chain that makes me feel so good. Momentum and creating my core offer. Okay, I know what I want my business to be but I have not gotten started implementing systems advertising and making sales. Okay, so it probably just feels like there's a lot to do a lot, a lot, a lot to do. Okay, cool. So let's, let's workshop this all out. And we are going to solve all the problems. Okay. So let me scroll back here. Okay, so Jesse said Add things are being added to the list faster than I can check them off. And then she added it's more than one person can handle. So my hotseat coaching around this Jesse is really understanding is everything urgent and important right now? Like, does it all need done right now? Can we start to put it into order of importance, so it doesn't feel like oh, I need to get 200 things done today. Equally, one thing that I did years ago was hire a virtual assistant for even five hours a week, which was super affordable. And it took a ton of things off of my plate. So prioritizing, everything can be super helpful. I love using like a parking lot list of like things that are more of like a want to, if it's more client deliverables than that like literally like need done, because so you can get paid, then we can really understand like, Okay, do I need to up my prices, right? So we can decide, like, Is this more administrative is this more deliverables, and if it's just too much to handle, that could also be an indicator that we need to up our pricing. So you have less work to do? And would meaning that you get paid more in a short amount of time. Prioritizing is key, but I can't even wrap my head around that right now. Okay, where do your tasks live? Are they in a task management tool piece of paper? Hi, can I just chime in? Absolutely. So my tasks, yes, we have a CRM. This is for like rental properties. So we have a CRM, and I do have a VA and I have like a handbook for her. But we're just we're all over the place. Okay. I text her some some request, put some in the right place. And it's everywhere. Okay, so you mentioned the CRM are your tasks and there along with like, leads are in there to her tential Yes, yes, yes. Okay. Is she have access to that? Yes. Okay. Do you guys meet on a regular basis? We're supposed to Oh, it doesn't always happen. And that's on me. Okay, so I that would be one of my first recommendations. My OBM My Online Business Manager, we meet three times a week. Okay. It sounds obsessive. But it shaves off so much back and forth time, where like, she just has like, a list a mile long, and we just like, go through it out. Yeah. And I can like, vent to her like, I'm super overwhelmed. Right. And she could be like, Okay, what are you overwhelmed with? Let me take that off your plate. Let me take that off your plate. So that would be one of my first recommendations is we that's a non negotiable. You guys have at least a weekly huddle? If not, we start with like two days a week just to like, tame the chaos. And then, from a prioritizing standpoint, what are the what's the the category of the tasks? Are they more administrative, more business development? So a lot of administrative but they require it's not always the same black and white, they require some thought and emotional intelligence. Yeah, to get to the correct decision. So that's kind of where I've struggled to outsource. Because it's been hard to put, you know, black and why if this if this than that on a lot of our scenarios, because they're dealing with people's housing and yeah, you know, it's very interpersonal as well. Okay. In those huddles, you could actually also make it like working time, which is like training. Right. Okay. So, hey, we're gonna huddle for like powwow for this much time. And then we're going to like, literally keep working together for this much time. So that way, like, you're on Zoom together and yeah, it can be on the job training of like, okay, what would you do in this situation? And you can workshop that with with them. Okay. So I believe emotional intelligence can be trained. It just takes time. And you mentioned is she five hours a week? Is that what you said? So we have a VA is actually purely virtual and then I have a local Okay, assistant as well. We're in Columbus and okay. So she comes in the office for three hours a week. Okay, yeah, on to days, but then I don't it's like, not enough, because there's a million questions the rest of the week. Yes. Yeah. So, you know, at one, at some point, we also need to decide, do we just need more hours? Right? Like, how do we make that happen, but you know, if that's not in the budget right now, then I would at least get the the huddle going. Because then we can maximize those hours way more, because they may be spinning their wheels for 45 minutes, trying to figure something out, and they're clocking you for that time. When if we're on a co working session, and you can like, like, just bang it out really fast with them, then we can accomplish things so much faster. Okay. So I think it gets to be a both and maximize the hours that you have right now with them. Prioritizing huddles, and then at some point, it sounds like we're really going to have to add some hours. Okay, yes, I can do that. I mean, we can financially support it. I don't I kind of feel like I'm asking a lot of her. Okay. And that's something I struggle with. You know, she's there to help. But I'm like, Oh, I can just do it. Like, it won't take me long. I don't want to ask Kathy to do it. But what what is that stopping you from doing that? You're really good at that it will actually make more money. Yeah. All sorts of things. Yeah. Yeah. So it's just a lot of retraining of our brain because we're told not to ask for help. And, yeah, so it's, it's tough. But I like to think of it of like, okay, they can focus over here and do these things. And then I can be over here focusing on these things. And it makes the business more money, which means I can give more raises, I can give bonuses, right? Like, just like reframing it in my brain of like, these are both equally powerful positions and tasks. But I don't need to do them. All. Right. Do because then you have that heaviness feeling of there's just too many tasks to do, and that you're like running in place. And that does, right. So we get I feel like I I feel like I know what to do, but struggle with the control of actually letting it happen. No, that's totally normal. And so I think the huddles will make a world of a difference for you. Because you'll be able to be in it with them. And then be able to work through things and that trust will build and that control will start to diminish. Okay, thank you. Yeah, you're welcome. I love that. You're in Columbus. Yeah. I saw you at the panel with Brooke. Oh, good. I was Yeah. This morning. Yeah, I know. I know her through shoot other staging. Oh, that's so well, if you're available on October 12. We Worldcon is coming. But I'd love to I will look into it. Yeah, I'll drop the link. We have free tickets. So cool. That's so cool. Good to see you again. Yeah. Okay, cool. So prioritizing. Weekly huddles can be huge. I was even talking to my OBM. The other day because we use a tool called Asana, A S A N A, it's free. It's a task management tool. So we keep our CRM or customer relationship management tool separate from our task management. And so and that is intentional, because it's two different energies. I want sales to be over here. And I want more operations to be over here. And like in Asana, it lets you pick due dates. Due dates have been a world of a difference. So everything coming into our task management tool gets a due date. And the reason why I love this is because Asana actually puts it in order of the due date. So my brain isn't worried about something that's in October right now. Because it's not my it's not my priority right now. It's important, but not the priority right now. So even just having those due dates, has like completely shifted the energy around and not feeling so heavy. And I was telling my OBM the other day, I was telling her because she had some things that were in red, meaning like they were past the due date and I said, Hey, instead of us constantly changing the due dates. This is a good indicator of that, like maybe too much is on your plate and that's okay. That tells us that the business needs more support, right? So kind of bouncing off of Jesse of like, we we want to make sure that we're feeding the business what it needs in order to make the money that can, right? So let's say your your business goal is that your business makes a million dollars a year, $2 million a year, 10 million, whatever the number is, we want to start putting those systems in place now. So that it can start operating like a million dollar business now, right that way it's ready for when you do hit those milestones. And it's not complete chaos. Right? I like to call this the Oprah effect. Like if Oprah shouted you out, would you be ready for that influx of sales on the back end, right? And a lot of times people say, Oh, well, I'll figure it out. But that's not a bulletproof answer, right? We want to have a more clear cut, like, Absolutely. We've got these automations in place. We've got this team in place. We've got these systems in place to be able to, to be able to be ready for Oprah. Okay, so just a couple of things to think about there. All right, let's keep on moving and workshopping this out. But this is awesome. What's your guys's biggest takeaway from Jesse's? Drop it in the chat biggest takeaway from Jesse's challenge? Drop it in the chat. Okay, let's keep on moving. Drop your takeaway in the chat? I'm gonna scroll back here. Okay, so Brooks said process for following up with clients after a strategy meeting. Okay. So a strategy meeting, is that a paid meeting? Or is that like a free offer to build trust with them in the hopes that they become a client? If you could give me a little bit more context, either in the chat or unmute? That would be super helpful. Hey, Nellie, for this specific circumstance I'm talking about it's before the sale. Okay, before the sale. Okay, cool. How are they scheduling that strategy meeting? Typically through my Calendly link that goes in, so I have that setup. And that's kind of where all of this stems from, because I'm in, you know, in the process of scaling, so setting up the automations. And the systems is where I am now and where I should, like, just spend a bulk of my time at this moment to get set up, because it's just like, you're saying, like, I'm, I need to get this ready for where I'm going. It just seems so huge to do as I'm in it, you know? Yes, absolutely. And I, most people, systems don't come naturally to us, myself included. So I hire a lot of people that are really freaking good at systems, because it is not something that comes natural to me that our next session when we talk about sales, oh, that is like my jam, that is my love language, it comes easy to me. So I've really had to pay quite a bit of funds to the system side of my business, because I know that's not my strong suit. So if that's an option for you, or anyone else, it can speed up the process. If that's not at option, then we've really got to hunker down and like, if anyone has watched like Bar Rescue before, I love Bar Rescue, where he Jon Taffer, like comes in for a week into a failing business. And he just like completely like wipes the slate clean and like gives it a makeover. put systems in place trains their team. So really like you could put your Jon Taffer energy on and like wipe your calendar for a week, or even a weekend and really decide okay, I'm gonna get a hotel room, I'm gonna get an Airbnb, I just hosted an implementation retreat. Not too long ago, and everyone there was like, I've gotten more done in this weekend than I have all month. And so really creating the environment can be so powerful to like, work through these things. So the cool part Brooks is Calendly actually lets you schedule follow up emails, do you know that that are automated? No. Awesome. So our podcast for our podcast you schedule through Calendly. And I have it set where there's several emails that go out to that person after their episode is like after I've recorded it. So it says off the top of my head like, I'm so glad, like thank you so much for your time, our team will be in contact with you with all of your graphics, because I found myself doing that manually, right. So for your follow up sequence for your strategy meeting. They're already scheduling into Calendly so you already have it half done. So you could totally go in to Calendly to get those scheduled. And then after they scheduled the meeting, and the meeting happens, then those emails will fire off. So they could either you could upsell them, you could give them support, you could really think about like, what do you want to do? Now, nothing will be like that personal interaction. But at least it's, it's helping you make it happen. And then we could still do like a personal follow up as well. But that way, you're not reliant on your your memory to do it all. Does that make sense? Yeah, it does. And so when you said that you have a different CRM than you do for Asana. So like, it would go from Calendly. To the CRM. Yeah. Asana. Yep. Okay, oh, let me show you really quickly here. Oh, I'm still getting over this cold. So I apologize. But I'm hacking on you guys. Good thing. You're not you can't get any germs through the screen here. Um, so this is Calendly. And this is our podcast scheduling. So you can set up this is like, once the event is live, the actual event is live. Does this look familiar to you? Yeah. Okay. So, um, we have pre qualifying questions, like already asking you about their topic, which helps with that. We asked for their headshot, we asked for their short bio. Again, this is just shaving off so much time. And then we have these calendar invites. So email reminders, and then this is what you want the email follow up. So I have it turned on. And then here is the personalization. Hi, full name. Thank you so much for being a guest on our podcast. so and so. Okay. And it scheduled for 30 minutes after, which is going to wow them, right. Like, oh, my gosh, I just got off the podcast episode. She was so great meeting Nellie, she already sent me a message, right? So this can just be a really cool way to wow, somebody, whether they're a leader or not, doesn't matter. But it's nice to feel like you're on top of your shit. Right? Exactly. But you're like yesterday for the first time in a long time. And I'm like, you know, I know what it takes to do this. You have to be able to do it, you know. So what feels easier to you? You to pick a like a weekend and hunker down or pay somebody to do it. pay somebody to do stuff like this for you. Which one feels easier? Picking a weekend and and hunkering down which is Yeah, kind of what I'm settling on. Okay, that's perfect. It doesn't matter how we get to our result as long as we get there. Right. So that is what I want you to do right now is literally pull open your calendar. Pick a weekend. Enroll your husband be like, okay, like I need, I need to go get a hotel room. I literally have done this. And do you have like a birthday coming up? Or an anniversary coming up for you? Yeah. Oh, perfect. So what is it a birthday or an anniversary? Anniversary? Oh, even better. So you go, honey, I this is what I want for our anniversary gift. And then you can ask him what he wants. Right? So maybe he wants a weekend away. Or maybe he wants you know, a night out. So it can be a way to like, get it happening. You get what you want. He gets what he wants, and everyone's happy. How's that sound? Perfect. Awesome, cool. You're welcome. Alright, so pick your weekend, I'm going to ask you what it is before we're done. So once you know what it is, drop it in the chat. I even love like if it's possible for you like a Thursday evening to like Sunday morning. That's what we did for implementation retreat. So you still had like family time on Sunday. And that worked out really nicely. So you could like check into your hotel Thursday night. And then you've got all day Friday, all day Saturday to like just crush it. Okay, I like that. Cool. All right. So we've got and I'm sure there's more than just the strategy meeting follow up that you can obviously work on because that that shouldn't take too long. But that's just part of just just I love the saying build it and they will come right. So like build the systems, like we talked about earlier to create A million dollar business or you know, insert any, you know, big sales goal that you have for your business. It's just going to be so much easier than having to go back and fix it later when you're like, stressed and overwhelmed. So can be just super helpful. Okay, biggest takeaway from Brooks section? Session? Drop it in the chat. Oh, my gosh, I need that. When is the next one implementation retreat? We have one coming up. That's virtual. And then we have an in person one, if that's the one if that's what you're asking for in May. So we have virtual one coming up in November, and then may will be in person. So I can definitely make sure you get that those deets. All right, Rachel said follow up within 30 minutes of the meeting. Yes, taking the weekend to knock off tasks. And if you have like, so I have ADHD, and it's really hard to convince my brain to do something I don't want to do, I will avoid it at all costs. But here's the cool part I've learned about ADHD. Once I'm in something, even if I don't love it, I hyper focus. And I'm like, Okay, I'm getting it done. It feels so good. So sometimes what I have to do to trick my brain, when I can't like go get a hotel and like focus or host an implementation retreat. I say, Okay, for the next 20 minutes, I'm going to work on this thing. And that has really helped me because as long as I can make some progress, at the end of the day progress is progress is progress, progress feels good. Progress equals momentum, right? So even just setting a timer of like, okay, for the next few minutes, I'm just going to log into Calendly and see what I can figure out. And when the 20 minutes is up, I can either decide, do I want to keep going? Or do I not right? So, so helpful to get that momentum, because typically, that's what we need to keep going. I did that last weekend with our house, our house looks like a frat house, I clean it so much, but hashtag children. And so I was like, Okay, this doesn't feel good. I don't like how my house looks right now. I'm just gonna set a timer, I'm gonna put on a audiobook, and I'm just gonna see what I can get done. And I like blazed through the whole house, I impressed myself honestly. So we get to find those little things that really help us. So we can actually get to where we want to go. So you are not the obstacle, you are the solution. And so you know yourself best. And instead of beating yourself up with how you're designed, and trying to rewire yourself, we can really tap into like, what's really going to work for you, right? And then we can start using all of those tools and resources and modalities that help you. So just something to remind yourself. Okay, let's keep on going here. All right. Okay. So Rachel mentioned too many calendars and planners, at the same time. So this is a one that I see a ton. So this could be helpful to sit down for like an hour. And let's decide on the calendar system. That's kind of, excuse me, that's going to work best for you. Is it Google Calendar? Is it a paper planner? Is it outlook? What is it and then we literally put everything into that one, and we burn everything else. Okay, that sounds really dramatic. But we need a centralized location. I live off calendar invites, meaning like Google Calendar runs my life. Because if not, I would probably not show up at things and I would feel terrible. So I literally have everything in there. So that way, I don't miss a beat. And it has the Zoom links in there. It has, what else does it have? If there's an address that I need, right? Everything's in there, and everything has reminders that are linked to my phone, which is really, really helpful. So I personally love Google Calendar. I love writing things down. But it's not bulletproof. Right? When it comes to calendars, and also when it's like a meeting with somebody, somebody else. It's nice that it's a calendar invite because then we're both on the same page. We're going to go to the same place at the same time. And it's not like oh, I thought you said it was on this date at this location. It's like no, it was here, right? So it can just shave off. So much time to make sure everyone's on the same page, including you. Okay, so Rachel, decide what feels best to you. Is it Google Calendar? Is it a paper planner? Is it outlook? What are you thinking? Okay, I just unmuted myself. Perfect. I like when people talk to me, I have a combination. I like the note book planner, calendar queen. I have I kid you not a forefoot calendar Dry Erase on my wall right in front of my desk. Swear I've got September and October so I can see everything. I do work. No two different things. I have my nine to five and then I have my Mary Kay. So and, and it's color coded. So I can just glance and say okay, pink is Mary Kay purple is, you know, the Native American part part of my business? Yeah, um, notebooks, planners, Google Calendar. I've got three notebooks sitting right here right now talking to you. Yeah, so I just, it's just a mess. It's not a mess. It's a chaotic mess. Yes, I know where everything is. To sort of. Yeah, right, right. But there's just a lot going on. Right? So what if we reduced to the calendar on the wall and Google that I do have to write things down. I have had several strokes. Okay. In order for it to register in my head. It has to go through my fingers don't ask. Well, you're you're making sure that it's working for you. So can we do a paper planner, then? I have one of those as well. Okay, can we just can we pick one paper planner, and the wall calendar. And the wall calendar is more like outlining the sales goals. What's happening? It's more big picture. And the paper planner is more like the day to day appointments. Does that make sense? Yes, it does. But I also need the Google Calendar for when I travel. Why? Because I travel a lot with I'm Outreach Coordinator for the Florida Governor's Council. Okay, so I may not be sitting here at my desk working. I make like, coming in October, I'm going to be in Fort Myers. Okay. And then, you know, in mid September, I'm going to be in Myrtle Beach. So that's why I just have so many it's so hard to keep everything all Okay, then let's shift it a little bit. Let's everything the home base is Google Calendar, where all the travel is all the day to day to To Do's and then we do a daily planner of writing down what you're going to do that day. Awesome. Does that work? Yes, that sounds good. And that way, like when you wake up in the morning, and you have your coffee, we literally have like a paper daily planner of like, here's my goals for the day. And we're like really setting the intention. I'm doing that. Now I have a whole like this setup. Oh, perfect. Awesome. So I have my daily schedule. My six most most important things that need to be done that day. I like I said, I'm a planner, Queen. You know, what's for dinner? What's your notes? Just? But yeah, that's my whole thing is notebooks, notebooks, calendars everywhere? Yes. So the more we can reduce, and you're like, Okay, Google Calendars up, and then I'm going to plan my day on paper. That's already less stuff. So let's Excuse me. Let's test that out. Okay. And see how that feels. And the beautiful part about systems is we're going to constantly be tweaking and modifying because we're checking in with ourselves on like, is this working for me, right? And if it's not, how can it work better? If it is working for you, then we keep doing the system. But we don't want to just do a system to do a system, we want to make sure it works. Okay. So test that out. Feel free to report back and see how that how that works for you. But that alone will hopefully reduce some chaos for you. And keep us moving forward. Faster. Cool. Thank you. Yes, yeah, you're welcome. All right. biggest takeaway from Rachel. All right. Okay, let's keep on moving here. Okay, so Tracy said getting organized and identifying. Identifying strategy for the new role. Rebalancing me, Tracy Tracy. Hi, this kind of goes hand in hand with the other one I put to about momentum for my core offer. Okay, good. Let's talk about all of it then. Yeah, so for me it's just a time of rebalancing because of my full time I got a promotion and it And so trying to figure out, like, between my full time job, my teaching and my business, like how I'm balancing. So I know it's going to be a little crazy for a while. I think some of it goes back to the mindset piece, though, of it's okay to not be at the level, I was an each of them before, like, I'm gonna have to give more, you know, in this role, and and I kind of knew that to going into it. But it's a lot of reminding myself of that too. And also, there's different seasons, right? Have we have we officially started in your new role? Not officially, but yes. So Monday, I was in Chicago, it was announced. And we had our first team meeting in person, everybody Monday afternoon, and started talking about strategy for the team, what we're going to do so I automatically have ideas. And I know documentation is going to be a big thing. Like, what we do is not black and white. And we can be very creative and how we do it. So it's trying to figure out, you know, what are the pieces to that and trying to get organized and make sure the team is in line with how we're staying organized. So we have a system kind of like Trello and Asana, Microsoft Planner is like the equivalent. So we use that at work. So we've already been putting things in columns, and like due dates, and all of that kind of stuff. That's awesome. Yeah. So yes, I agree. I think it's reminding yourself that, hey, I'm in a new role. I'm gonna probably need about 90 days to like, get comfortable here too. Like, because you're you want to do a good job, too. Right? Yeah. So we don't want to create unnecessary pressure, and other categories of your life that don't that are unnecessary. Right? Right. So I think really deciding what's important to you in these next 90 days, is huge. And it doesn't mean that your business can't thrive too, we just want to be really mindful of you're exuding a ton of energy in the day job that we may not want to do like a live watch. Right? Right. And in the business, we may want to do a little something a little bit more passive. So I think it's definitely checking in with yourself on like, what's most important, putting in order of importance, and setting some really clear goals. Feel in alignment with the time and energy that you have? That's what one of the things and I know you're gonna, I think you're gonna talk about the sales piece too, is in the past, I've set up my goals to be okay, I want to get X number of people or I want to make X number of dollars. And I don't feel like that's driven me as much as like the widgets and the products. Is that okay? Hell, yeah. No, it leads to it. Absolutely. I'm all for whatever is going to motivate you is the solution. That's why I started writing. It's kind of faded right now. But I write it, I write it. Wow. I started writing people on my hand, not a sales goal. Okay, people are what motivate me, like when I can No, I bless somebody's life. That's awesome to me whether like, again, like you guys are not paying a dime to be here. And I will leave a happy woman like, it's the people for me. So I absolutely think it's tapping into what excites you what motivates you, because when we can really hone in on that it's going to help everything else? Yep. So you know, it doesn't hurt to identify the other goals. So we know what they are. arcs, but then we go, we go all in and focus on that motivation piece. Okay. That helps with the mindset to Yay. Okay. And then the momentum piece. Do you want to touch on that? Yeah, I think it's just being okay with not spending as much time as I have before in my business, because I know, like you said, it's a season. Yeah. And it's gonna shift again. And just kind of thinking about those, like, the goals for work for the next 90 days. What are the goals for my business and not getting too? I guess, crazy about what those goals are? Like being realistic with Yeah, what they could be because of the time shift. Yeah, and it may be more behind the scenes things in your business. So you can go at your own pace. Yes, for sure. Absolutely. So yes, I think some some soul searching there could be huge for you so we can set everything up for success and like, I think sometimes when we compare ourselves to other people, then that's when we're like, No, I should be going for a live launch and do these things. And, but that's not what you want. You know what I mean? Right? Yeah, cuz even when I sent you a note and I said, I don't want to do a membership group, like something doesn't feel right, and you're like, what if you shift and kind of think about it from this perspective instead? And I was like, Oh, I really liked that. Like, that's different for me. And a way it's similar, but it's just different. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, it's, it's the more abstract things but are just can be, make a world of a difference and take unnecessary pressure off of yourself. So I think that's huge. Yeah. Cool. Thank you. And equally, think about, like all your ideas and put them on a parking lot, right. Like, I started using Asana, with Britney's group now and I'm started using Asana more effectively to do all my tasks and everything. So I definitely do that. Yeah, we have. I mean, I'm, I know, you and I were full of ideas, right? So I don't want to lose those. But I also equally have 90 days before I have a baby. So I've got to be really picky with what I do right now. And so I just keep putting things on the parking lot. And it's like, okay, that doesn't need to be done right now, that doesn't need to be done right now. So even though you're not having baby, like, we're in the new position, and so there's, we're exuding a lot of time and energy that when you do have ideas for your business, let's just put it on the parking lot. Yep, definitely. Yep, park it, and get back to work. Thanks, Natalie. You're welcome. All right. biggest takeaway from tracing, drop it in the chat. I love it. Okay, let's keep on moving here. I hope this is really helpful. I love hot seat coaching, because you get exactly what you need. And it's not generic business advice. Because every person and every business is very, very unique. Okay, let's see who we go to next. So similar to Rachel is Jackie notebooks. I have notebooks all over different information. When I go to look, I'm not sure where the information is. Hi, Jackie. I was just thinking of you the other day. Hi, that's awesome. I'm always thinking of you because you're always in my feet. You know, I'm good. I'm good. And you know, just to start off, you know, thanks for doing this. Nelly, you're, you're you're an awesome human beings. So no. So I love what I do. So it's easy. Yeah. So onto the notebooks. Yeah. Yes. So well, when you were talking to Rachel, you know, I kind of already started breaking some of this down, because you know, I got a calendar thing to write. So I'm gonna, I'm gonna throw this up to you. And you, you think so, because I have a nine to five, two. And then I'm starting to kick off my my biz, because now I actually have a little bit more time, which is great. And so I'm going to have two wall calendars. I'll have my business wall calendar, and then I'll have the J. OB, because I work more from home now. So and then for my, my personal things, I use the Google Calendar. Because that's, you know, I have that to me is in my hand then. For notebooks. So I mean, I have notebooks for everything. And the joke is, well, wait, Jackie's got to find her notebook. Right. Could be a bit everybody. But so what if I did like, like a seasonal notebook or something and kind of like we're going into fall? So now I have a fall notebook. Right? And maybe I'll make it orange or will be orange. And then because I can't usually remember the timeframe of when I wrote it down. I just don't know the notebook. Okay, so are you? Are you married to it being paper like, Do you are you I'm when I'm like listening to you right now. I'm writing notes. So I'm in milk girl. Yeah, sure. Yeah. Not that I'm opposed to doing things online. I just for these purposes, it works best. Okay. What are you typically writing down? Is it tasks or just like more like, ah Ha's? Yep. Yeah, it's just information. You know, like, if I, you know, just, like when you're talking to Rachel, I was writing that stuff down, you know, I got a couple pages here already. And I have it in a purple notebook. So in case I ever need to ask you what I have so many of those, and I have and then I, you know, I I've kind of married the j ob information with the, you know, the, my, you know, what I my, my inspiration together and, and now I'm just like, oh my gosh, and people laugh and I actually one day I will not lie. It was probably like three months ago, I picked up all the notebooks and I threw him in the garbage. Because it was like I hadn't even like looked at him for a really really long time. Long time. I mean, I had no books no math for years. Oh, wow. How often are you needing, how often are you finding yourself like, oh, shoot, I need to find that information. I don't know where it is, you know? I'll say more than I would like to because it's a time suck. Okay, I guess I didn't know if it was like every now and then or if it's every day or once a week, like how the frequency of you first things, you know, weekly for sure, because they'll be like, oh, yeah, that's right. I wrote that idea down. And I don't know where it was a great idea, but I don't know where, okay, yeah. Do you have a tablet? Um, I do not have a tablet. Okay. This is more expensive idea. But like, are you an Apple product girl or Android, Samsung? Well, I have a Apple phone, but the rest of me is PC. Okay. So, um, you could get a tablet that has a pen. There are tons of different tools like apps that you can use for books. And you can create different sections in the app for like, Okay, for the jlb for the business meetings. And the nice part about this as you can search for things. So nice. Yeah, you could type in different words. Okay. So that's a little bit more of an expensive idea. But I think we're regardless of that's not the route that you want to go some more organization of, even if we had, like, almost like a bookshelf of your notebooks. Okay. And we labeled them right, if it's per month, right. Do you get a new notebook every month? Oh, my God, that'd be amazing. I'm literally visualizing I have bookshelves. That's why I'm turned over here. Like, you have them and you like get a label maker. And you're like, September of 2022. This is my notebook. Yeah. Could be really cool. From like, a growth standpoint. Yeah. Be all the notebooks. Yeah. So those are like my two big ideas. One is obviously way more expensive. But I think both could be phenomenal. But then we're married to that one notebook. For the whole month. Yeah. Regardless of what's happening. Yeah, I like that. Okay. Yeah, I like that idea. Cool. And I love to buy notebooks. So this is great. This is great news. The nice part is like these make great gifts for you. People can buy notebooks for you. You could even put a subscription on Amazon for notebooks to come to your house every single month. Yeah. For maybe like 10 $20 a month. Yeah. And that way, like you get it like maybe the last week of the month for the following month, but it's like, Okay, time for a new book. Yeah, like it. So it would just take the effort of labeling it and putting it on a bookshelf and being discipline of like, at the end of the month, I'm done. Regardless if there's, you know, blank pages or not. Yeah. Thanks, Nellie. You're welcome. Try that out. See, well, we'll see. Don't be a stranger stranger. All right, biggest takeaway from Jackie, drop it in the chat. And we will keep moving here. And then we'll after we get through these, we'll take a little like lunch break. Obviously, you can keep eating, if you're eating right now. But we'll take a little break before we talk sales because I'm going to need some fuel for that one. Okay, let's see here. Let me scroll back up. See who we can give some love to. Okay, so Erica is just starting her business, which is so freaking exciting. I know what I want my business to be. But I have not gotten started implementing systems, advertising, making sales. Oh, my so much. I love like the energy of starting a new business is so sexy to me, because everything feels fun. And you're like, on top of the world. You're like, oh my gosh, I'm going to be a millionaire. Like it's just really good energy, I think. So, we'll make we'll make this one our last one for today for systems. But Erica? So do we have and feel free to unmute or just drop in the chat whatever is easiest for you. But do we have a brain dump of all of your ideas of like what you need to do in one place? Like, do we have essentially a roadmap of what we need to do? Or is it kind of all like swimming around in your head? Yeah, so I feel like um, you know, as you're kind of starting and researching all the things, there are so many different like, ways that you can go right like, are you You're going to advertise on social media, or you're going to start a website like, so it feels like a lot of input. And I'm not really sure where to start. And I think that as you were kind of talking about putting systems in place, it I've kind of been thinking, what is the simplest way to just like get started. But it also made sense when you said, like, setting up the systems strong in the beginning so that they're ready when like an influx comes in. So I'm kind of just a torn between, like, do I just do the bare minimum and get going, like, Where where's a good healthy starting point. If you're listening to a lot of different mentors, they're going to tell you all different things. So even just cutting out some noise for right now. And like deciding on who you want your guide to be, can be huge, because right now we're in the like, analysis paralysis mode, where you're like, oh, my gosh, there's so many different directions I could go. And so many different people telling me all the things, we actually recently did a podcast episode on launching your business. So if you just hop into I can drop you the link to but wake up and be wealthy as our podcasts. And we I think it was last Friday is when it aired. But I'm also going to drop you our start your business checklist. Yes, that would be super helpful. Thank you. And it shows you what to do like essentially within your first five weeks. If my computer cooperates here, come on. But those are two helpful resources for you. There we go. It should be loaded here. Just one second, you'll see it. So start your business checklist. All right, do you see that in the chat, I do think that so that will be super helpful. This is what I wish somebody would have told me years ago. So I put it in a sequence for you. It's like a fun checklist when you could print it off, put it on your refrigerator or put it in front of your computer. But hopefully that will help. And then from a Getting Started standpoint, like your business gets to make money. So one of the biggest priorities in starting is figuring out what's that first product, right? What's that first offer? What's that first program, because a new business doesn't need a ton to get started. But we want to make sure we're focusing on the right things. So you can get out of the gates with some momentum, aka money. Do you have that in mind of like how the fastest way you want to make money. I don't know necessarily the fastest way, but I am focusing on coaching. So it'll be that one to one model in the beginning. And then kind of expanding on that as I grow. And I love that move on ladder of of creating that passive income as you go forward and that kind of thing. So starting with that one to one coaching model being that initial income. Awesome. So that checklist will be huge for you then because it talks about like making your leads list on there. I'm gonna pop in our link to our podcast, as well. So you can listen to that episode from last week. Um, so really, I what I want your focus to be for the next month is really connecting to that client, a potential client and spending your time with them. When you can create a transformation for somebody they are, regardless of them paying you or not, they're more likely to want to work with you one on one. Does that make sense? Yeah, for sure. So even like when I first started years ago, and coaching, I offered like quick 15 minute mini sessions for free. And what was so cool about this is I had a goal of 10 one on one clients. So I booked them for these calls through Calendly. And then I would give them massive value in that time. And regardless of if they said yes or no or not, it always felt good. I was becoming a better coach and mentor. But the cool part was they got that transformation, even in that short amount of time. And they're like, can we keep this going? Like can I work with you? I was like, Sure. Yeah, like I've got this 12 week offer. It's one on one. It's this price and they're like okay, send me the invoice so it felt so you easy and fun. And then before I knew it, I was sold out of my one on one spots. So this can happen pretty fast. When you had those 15 minute mini sessions, how do you feel like you were able to provide that transformation during that time? Listening? People, especially in a one on one container, are very vulnerable. So they would open up to me very quickly, and I could understand where their roadblocks were. Ask them clarifying questions, and then give them some ideas, right? Like, you guys are having these aha oz today that could yield fantastic results for you. Right? So it's really like, creating that aha moment, that epiphany moment for them of like, this is what's been holding me back, right? Or here's the solution, right? And being that guide for them of like, here, like, have you thought about this? What about that, right? Like, it's like coaching and mentoring is such a intimate relationship of being a partner with them being a guide, and supporting them. So just creating that aha moment can create that transformation, that then they want to keep going, because there's no way it can solve all of your problems today, right. So continuing to work together, we can continue to make that momentum. So it makes it so easy for that container to keep going. I love that. Thank you. Yeah. And sometimes, you know, people try on their own, right? Like, they'll go out and they'll be like, Yeah, that's great. I may not, maybe I'll join that later. And they'll go try on their own, but they you can't take away the experience that they just had that forever will be in their heart, that that was really, really magical. And so it could be planting seeds for three months from now where they're like, Okay, I tried on my own. They may not say this, but I tried on my own. And I'm ready. Can I still join? Right? Maybe the price is more expensive, right? That's happened. Maybe your spots are filled, but you have a different offer. So they've already been familiarized with you. They've already built trust with you that even if it's not an immediate sale, it's totally planting a seed for the future, that they're, they're more inclined and ready to go later on to. I love that. Yeah. Totally. Okay, cool. You guys are amazing. All right. biggest takeaway from Erica. Yeah, Erica, the biggest thing for you is momentum and money, like focusing on the momentum to lead to the money. And then we can figure out all the bells and whistles of your business later. So tell me which I'm sorry. Can you tell me which podcast is the one that you were wanting? Me to? Yes. Let me pull that up and gave you the podcast episode. Number 81. How to launch your biz. Perfect. Thank you. You are welcome. Okay, which CRM do we use? We use F G funnels. So it's a whole funnel system automation, and it has a CRM, a customer relationship management tool built in. We got in when we were a founding member, it's$1,000 a year, but it does everything. It's a lot similar. It's similar to like Kajabi, or like a teachable if you're familiar with that Brooks. But fg funnels, the thing I will say about that is we have a funnel builder that helps us if I were in there alone, I would be like holy shitballs. This is a lot. It's very complex. It's very overwhelming. Super powerful, but I have an expert in there helping us connect things together. So a customer relationship management tool can be as simple as pen and paper. It can be as simple as Asana or Trello. That's what I did years ago. To keep track of all of my leads. I still to this day have my top 100 I call it your dream. 100 Queen 100 dream 100 I call them interchangeably the same thing. I still have them on a clipboard. Like the 100 most people most important people that I get to focus on outside of my clients. I still have them on a clipboard so you can totally find what works for you. Okay, cool. Any other burning questions before we take a quick lunch break? Bio break lunch break. I hope this was really helpful. I love hot seat coaching is my favorite thing. Because you get what you need.
