Any challenge is happening. There we go. All righty. It is time for the back to biz bash. And I really want this to be an annual event. So I'm excited for you being here for the first ever back to biz bash. So I'm curious, for those that are joining live. How was your summer? Was it crazy? Was it all over the place? Tell me how you felt this summer, we had a lot of fun this past summer, we went to Disney World with our inner circle, we went on a family beach vacation. And I barely worked because I barely had childcare. So kind of like, in a positive way helps me really pull back. And the cool part was my revenue stayed the same. So that was actually like really awesome. So it proved to me that I can do it. But with that being said, it was there was no structure, right. Like it was all over the place. Right. Running kids having playdates, you know, traveling, there was just so much chaos and all the best ways going on. And we had so much fun. But I like to say that September is really like the New Year, the seasons are changing. It's really almost like the last half the last quarter of the year, which is really exciting. I like to say September, October and November is the last quarter. So that way you can take December off and enjoy your holidays. And a lot of people think of like your customers and clients, they like they start to check out, right. Like I feel like when November hits, everyone's kind of like Thanksgiving specifically, like when Thanksgiving hits. People check out right there, they're ready to like enjoy the holidays, there's so much going on, especially if they're hosting holidays, buying bunch of you know, gifts and all of those things. So these next 90 days are pivotal for your business. And I want to help support you, and make sure that you are set up for success. So I'm so glad that you're here, whether you're watching live or the replay, and we have a huge agenda for the day, I was telling our live audience members that we're gonna go the whole time. So I made DoorDash some food, but we're gonna kind of Marathon style it out and, and how to have fun with it. So I am pregnant. So I may have to sneak to the restroom a few times, I don't think I can hold it for four hours straight. So I might give you something to do run to the restroom and come back. But we're gonna marathon it out and have a really, really good time. So I'm excited that you're here and we're ready to go. So we've got some really solid topics that we're going to be talking about today that I know are so freaking important. The first of which is mindset. It's not the sexy stuff that people want to talk about. They really like, through my experience. People want to blaze through the mindset piece. And they're like, oh, I don't need that. I'm fine. I can tell you, everyone that's making more money than me is still working on their mindset, right? They see how important it is and they're making time for it. So if that's a good indicator, that mindset is important, I hope I hope you take that hit. So we're gonna talk about mindset. We're gonna talk about systems today, making sure that you can tame the chaos have a little bit more routine in your life and your business. If we've never worked together in this type of container I like to make this super interactive, I like to give you time to work on things. So that way, you're not just sitting here listening to me, because that's not how you build a business, how you build a business is taking action. So I build in implementation time and everything that I do, because I know it's the key piece, the secret sauce to it. And most people struggle to implement on their own right, like, so if you're watching right now, and you're like, oh, my gosh, this is the best thing ever. And you just sit here and you don't do anything, the odds of you doing something after are very slim. So I would much rather give you lots of motivation, of course, momentum, and also give you time to like, put things in place so we can really supercharge that momentum. So we'll be building that in. Throughout the whole process. You can ask me anything that you want, if you have very specific questions on your business, if you're just struggling with something. So again, I want this to be super interactive, whether that be in the chat, that's the perk of joining live. So I can support you. And then we're going to finish with my favorite topic, which is sales. So really making sure that you're set up for success for these next 90 days. Drop me in the chat if you want to make more money just to make sure we're in the right room. Drop me in the chat. If you want to make some more moolah, this next 90 days, maybe a little, not even a little a big Christmas bonus for yourself, for your family, right? Maybe if you have team members, you want to give them a bonus. Maybe you want to pay off some debt. Be able to start the year off strong for next year with some cash reserves. Okay. So we're not going to pretend that you don't want to make more moolah? Can we agree? There's no more pretending there's no more hiding. I really think it's quite comical. Because if you think of like your favorite brands, like some of my favorite brands, or Starbucks, Target Southwest Airlines, I am very loyal to the brands that I love and the people that I love to work with. But when it's actual, like big businesses, right, like big corporations, I think in our brains where we think that they're different than us. So they may have more money, right, but they also have to they have more expenses to write they have more liability. Southwest makes a ton more money than I do. But they also have a ton more expenses and liability than I do. Right. So it's not necessarily apples to apples, but I think we've put them in a whole different category, that oh, they're their real business. Right? But so are you, right? Every single day when Starbucks opens their doors, target opens their doors, when Southwest is literally flying people all around the world, right? They're not pretending that they're not a business, right? They are loud and proud, sending you emails, right? Maybe even targeting you on ads, they are open for business. So I really want to challenge you in these next 90 days. Are you truly open for business? Meaning like, are you opening your doors, Monday through Friday, right, and you're doing what you want to do to get to where you want to go? This is really important, because when we have really big goals, we've got to make sure that our actions align with those huge goals. So if you're going for, let's say $1,000 per month, which is beautiful and amazing, that looks very, very different than somebody that's going for $10,000 a month. Still beautiful and amazing, right? But we want to make sure if that's the business, that we're opening our doors, that we're doing everything in alignment, to set ourselves up for success to reach that goal. Right? It is so easy to say you want to make$10,000 or $1,000 or maybe even a huge number, like $80,000 in a month, right? But it's so much different to open up the doors every single day. And even when people don't show up, you keep moving forward. You keep trusting the process, right? It's easy to work your business when things are working. Can I get an amen? Yeah, like when you're getting sales, you're having a really good month, you're in a good mood. It's so easy to feel like this is all working to have a great mindset, right? It's so much harder when people aren't returning your calls. When people are backing out, right when people are saying, oh, you know what, I changed my mind. Right? Or maybe you're having staffing challenges right now or childcare challenges. I've been there too, right? That's when You can really see where your mindset is that, okay? It's when it's not going, how you thought it would be going. Okay, so I'm curious on a scale of one to 1010, being like you have the most bulletproof mindset ever. You're so positive, you trust the process, you are moving forward, you're a problem solver. That would be a 10. One would be I have a really negative mindset, total impostor syndrome. And I'm questioning every move that I'm making. I'm overthinking every move that I'm making. Where are you at? On the mindset spectrum? Where are you at? Okay, five would be about in the middle where you're like, it depends on the day, right? Give me a scale. So I'm getting some, I'm getting a one, a six, a seven, a four and eight, seven. Awesome. I'm already getting toasty. So I'm gonna go ahead and take this jacket off. But I thought it was cute. I wanted to wear some sparkles for you. Okay, cool. So, no matter where you're at on the spectrum, we can always be better and do better, right? Even if you're out of 10, I want you to be added even more solid 10. Right. So where you're at right now, we've got to make some decisions. Because this is the biggest thing holding you back. I can literally bet a million dollars, it's not strategy. It's not time. It's your mindset. At the end of the day, all roads lead back to your mindset. All roads lead back to your mindset. So to say that to have you go from a four to a 10. Overnight is not realistic, right? However, can we get to a five, right? And how can we get to a five there are so many ways to work on your mindset. I like to say that I sneak mindset work into everything that I do, whether you know I am or not, it's kind of like hiding the veggies. Because I know it's that important. So sometimes I'm blatant, like I am now like, Hey, we're talking mindset. And a lot of times, more often than not, I'm like, sneaking it in to everything that I'm doing. Because you believing in you is when you become unstoppable. Okay? When you believe in you, that is when you're unstoppable. It is so attractive to work with somebody that has positive energy that has a positive mindset, that is a problem solver, that is not taking the victim route, right. And I really, really, really want to stress, having a positive mindset is not to be confused with being perfect. I am the furthest thing away from perfect. It is about making progress. And it is about really having perspective. Okay, we want perspective. You can be in the same situation and have a whole different mindset, right? Kind of a odd example. But a really good one that's easy and simple to talk about is two years ago, I'm I bought my first dream car, which is my jeep. I was so excited. Hi, this was like the first vehicle that is like truly mine. And I picked it out it was exactly what I wanted. Like, I felt like a big kid. And so the summer that I bought it. I had three flat tires that summer, I mind you I've never had a flat tire in my whole entire driving career. Okay. And so being on the side of the road is actually kind of scary if you've ever been on the side of the road before cars or on the freeway especially are just flying past you. And so the first time that I had the flat tire, I'm like, okay, like, we've got this, like pull out all the mindset work, right? Like call AAA sit there and wait, right? Like, okay, what can I do to you know, pass the time. And so then it happens again, and I'm like, Okay, we've got this great, like, no big deal. Second time. This is kind of odd that it's happening again. And it was a different tire. Right? So it wasn't like it was the same tire. And then it happens for a third time. Right. And I could have taken two different routes. I could have been like, what the insert cuss word right? What the heck is happening, right? Like why me? Why is this happening again? I just got my dream car and now it's on its third flat tire. This is annoying, right? I'm late for a meeting right? And attracting all the things that I don't want. Right So it would have been really easy to take that route. I had to work really intentionally of like, okay, this is frustrating. It's okay to acknowledge those things, right? So this is frustrating. I don't like this. But now I get to work through it. Right? And I'm going to focus on what can I do. So I literally like sat there and said sales messages after I called AAA. I called my husband, like I pulled out my to do list, it was just like, What can I do to keep moving forward? Here's the cool part. The next version of you, the wealthiest version of you, is still going to have challenges Newsflash, she's still going to have hard days, her revenue is going to go up and down. People are still going to tell her no, people are going to unsubscribe from her email list, right? Maybe unfriend her talk about her, right? There's gonna be days where she's tired, right? It's not going to be perfect, your wealthiest self that is in the future, is still going to have challenges. And so how we get to her faster, is start becoming heard. Now, regardless of the money, the money is actually the last piece of it, the money is the reward for doing all of the work. The success that I have now, I the version of me a couple of years ago was not ready for. So I actually ppreciate. Now, looking back, hindsight is always 2020. Right? I appreciate that it didn't happen then because I wasn't ready for it from a mindset perspective. So one of my favorite affirmations is I'm going to grow until I get it. Okay, maybe that dream house, that beach house that you want, paying off all of your debt, like I want you to think if you have a vision board, this is a great time to really think about those things or goals that you have. Everything that you desire is already yours. We get to grow until we get it. And when you can start to look internally. Then we have all the power, when we start to deflect and say oh my gosh, it's my strategy. It's my market. It's my product, right? We don't have as much control, when we start to deflect and put put all of the blame on outside forces of why we don't have the things that we want yet. Do those things play a part? In getting what you want? Absolutely. But they're like the last piece of it. Right? It's the last piece. Mindset is what's holding you back from everything that you desire. Okay, so that's good to know. Right? But now you're like, but what do I do? Right, like, okay, cool. Thanks, Nellie. Excuse me, what do I do? All right. Well, you're in a good spot, because I'm not going to just leave you hanging. Okay. So we really want to get clear on where your mindset is at right now. Okay. So I want you to think about the thoughts that you have in your head. Okay. These are the ones that you don't say out loud. They're typically the ones that if your best friend said it, you'd be like, Yeah, are you kidding me? Like what? Like? Absolutely not, you would shut it down. Okay, so I want you to write those thoughts down right now, the thoughts that have been going through your head for the last two weeks? It could be, is this really gonna work? Right, and maybe drop some of them in the chat for me too. Because I love like, creating the realness of it. Is this really gonna work? Am I really gonna get all the things done in the next 90 days before I have a baby, right? That's a reality. How can I actually do all of these things and be a mom and be a good mom, right? So I want you to write these down. They can be good, bad, ugly, no one else has to see them. But I want you to be real to yourself. You deserve to be real to yourself. And the cool part about extracting them from your brain and putting them on paper, is you're going to start to really visually see them, right? Because it's hard to connect with them when they're in our mind. They're kind of like all floating around in our heads. So when we can get those thoughts on paper and see them for from a bird's eye view. We can start to course correct. Okay, I still have lemonade. leaf's, I still question myself, I still have negative thoughts. I'm a freaking human, right? And so are you. So when you because it's not like, you're gonna just like magically leave the back to bizbash and be like, Oh my gosh, I'm the most positive person ever. I never have a negative thought Nellie, Nellie cured me or something like that. That's not, that's not our reality. Okay, so let's just let that go for a second. However, when we have the right tools, then we can really work through them faster. That's the only difference between your wealthiest self and your current self is who your wealthiest self has better tools. So when those things happen, she shifts so much faster, right? She shuts it down so much faster, she doesn't Spiral out. And let those thoughts stop her from going on Facebook Live, stop her from sending the email stop her from making the offer stop her from reaching out to the people. Okay. So, um, Alright, so we've got some thoughts here. All right. No one wants to listen to what I have to say. All right. Others do it for less. Hmm. is the same thing going to happen as the last time you were in this position? Dang. I'm not good enough at what I do. Okay. Other coaches are doing so well. All right, keep them coming in. Keep them rolling in. I'm gonna see if Facebook has anything to add here. Let's see what we've got. What other thoughts? Do we have? Share them? Share them with us? Okay. All right. So why is it so hard to make those phone calls? I struggled with deserving it from growing up poor. So real income won't be stable. I won't be able to keep up. If I do grow. Ooh, I don't have the right education. Okay, so I want to give you a tool today. Because these are real thoughts. These come from somewhere, right? There is always a ye under the Y under the Y under the y. If we don't address these thoughts, and work through these thoughts, and heal from these thoughts, they will continue to run the show. So, healing is an ongoing journey. But the beautiful part is you can make progress today. Which is exciting. And there's hope, which is my like biggest thing I always want you to know there's always hope. Who you were today, who were rather Who were you yesterday, does not have to be who you are today. Okay, so we can get a little bit better. And I do believe you decided to be here for a really special reason. There was something in you that was like, Okay, I don't know what this is. But I'm signing up for it. I know, we especially have some like new names here. i I'm gonna sign up for it. So I love giving back. There are no expectations, no strings attached today is to pour into you. That's my only goal today to pour into you. If and when you decide to keep going with us. Awesome. That's just means I can support you more. But my whole goal today is to be that bright light for you to keep moving forward. Okay, so let's give you the tool. Let's teach you the tool. Okay. So for now on, you get to make yourself a problem. Promise. Okay. When you have these thoughts, you're going to write it on paper. Again. That's the first step. When we write it on paper. We can see it when we can see it. We can work through it. No more. shutting it down. No more. stuffing it down. Okay. No more shaming yourself like, Oh, God, if anyone knew I thought this this would be awful. That's not helpful. Right? You're feeling this way. For a really big reason. Your body and your brain is always sending you messages. It's up to us to listen. Right? So have you ever had like, like a sore neck? Or like like, like an arm that was like, Oh, this just it just hurts, right? Have you ever had that happen? Or like maybe you had a headache? Okay, So I have this like little tickle in my throat. So when our bodies, like have something that's sore, right, and we just keep ignoring it, typically it gets worse, right? Because we can't heal it, right? So if we just ignore it, and it gets worse, then you're telling yourself that it's okay to be in pain and struggle through it. Right? Like, oh, eventually, it'll get better, I'm just going to ignore it, I'm not going to go to the doctor, I'm not going to seek you know, medication, whatever that means to you, or, like, get some like, like therapy or like book a massage, if it's like more of a muscle type of thing. So you're just telling yourself, you're not that important. And just get through the pain, suck it up, right? As where, perhaps, if you booked the doctor's appointment that day, or booked the massage that day, and they could really support you, and help you heal it, I guarantee you would walk out of that doctor's appointment or walk out of that massage therapists room and be like, Oh my gosh, I feel so much better. Right? seeking support. And paying attention to what your body and your brain are telling you is one of the most valuable things that you can do, whether it's physical pain, or mental pain, right? So we get to promise ourselves, okay, if you're watching today, you you get we we make Pinky promises here, okay? And you don't break Pinky promises. Okay, so your pinky promising me for now on when you have these thoughts, good, bad, ugly, okay? You're gonna sit with them, you're gonna write it down. Okay? And you're going to ask yourself, why is this showing up for me? Where's this coming from? You're going to be curious. And you're going to be gentle to yourself. When there are triggers that happen, it is a really, actually exciting thing. Because it's saying that your body really, and your mind need some support. Right? This doesn't feel good, right? When your brain is saying income won't be stable, you're not gonna go for those big goals. It feels too scary, it feels unsafe. Have you ever like gotten lost and then you're like, in a part of town that's like really scary. And you're like, oh, my gosh, lock the doors, right? Let's get out of here, your hands start to like a grip the steering wheel because you don't feel safe. When you don't feel safe. You go in fight or flight mode, you want to get out of there as quickly as possible. This is why mindset work is so critical. Because if we don't address the income won't be stable, that I won't even be able to keep up. If I grow, you're not going to go for the big goals and dreams in order to get to your wealthiest self. Does that land with you? Do you understand what I'm saying? So we will continue to hit a wall, we may see some success, but then we're going to self sabotage or self protect. Okay, so we will keep working to go forward. But almost like a rubber band, we're going to bounce back, right? And we're going to keep ourselves from our wealthiest self, because we're not addressing the root of what's really going on. Okay, when you like, let me scroll to the example of other coaches are doing so well. You're telling your brain that you can't do well to that there's not enough success for you? Where's that coming from? Okay. And equally, after we work through, oh my gosh, we start connecting the dots. So when I have done this in the past, because I am on a healing journey, just along with you. I'm on a mindset journey every single day. So the cool part about this tool is you'll write the question down and you'll start to be curious about it. You may not get instant answers. I don't want you to stare at the page and feel like you have to complete it right then in there. Just you writing it down is the best first step. Okay, then start to ponder. I, oddly enough, connect the dots of where things are connect like where they come from. When I'm driving. I'm like, holy shitballs. That's where that came from. Right? Like it's just really random. Okay, so you may not get the answers immediately and I want you to know that's okay. Okay. Trust yourself. Allow it to be when the download happens. It will be the right time for you. And you'll have that that light bulb moment of like, that's where that came from, right? I feel like other coaches are doing so well. And there's not enough success for me, because of this very specific situation that happened 10 years ago, right? So depending on how old you are, we have a lot of years, right? We have a lot of programming, we have a lot of conditioning, I don't want you to feel like it's impossible to work through it, but it's going to take some time. Right? So after we start to connect the dots, I equally it's a both and actually not after, but both and I want you to pick a more progressive thought, Okay? So instead of saying income won't be stable, that's what we're going to keep attracting, if we keep leaving and saying and thinking, income won't be stable, then we're going to keep attracting that. So mindset and manifesting go hand in hand, okay, they're like best friends, they hang out all the time together. Okay. So instead of attracting income will be stable, what's a more progressive thought, with what you wrote down, that we can start to think, believe and attract, right? So for example, it could be my income. I'm so excited for it to be stable. Right? That's gonna feel so good. Okay, let's look at another one where we can do. I'm not good enough at what I do. Well, that's a good one. You know what, I'm actually really good at what I do, for this reason, this reason, this reason and this reason, right? It may still have things that you want to learn, but that's a good thing. That means you're learning and growing. And that means everyone that you support is going to be able to grow with you, right? It's not about always having all of the answers. It's about being excited to find the answers, right? So we want to stack the evidence that these things aren't true. Okay? And what actually is true? Okay. Let's see what else here. No one wants to listen to what I have to say, okay, no one wants to listen to what I have to say. Hmm, a progressive thought for that could be, I would love to bless one person's life today, just one person's life. I'm gonna go on Facebook Live. And I'm gonna think of that one person that I can pour into today. And I'm going to talk directly to her. When I can do that, that I know I've done my job. I guarantee you, it won't just be one person, it could be 10. It could be 20. It could be 30. Right? So that's a way more progressive thought than no one wants to listen to what I have to say. Each and every one of you. Each and every one of us have very unique experiences that we've been through very unique gifts and talents. That get to change this world. There is only one you and like the Coco's that is your superpower when we own it. So the cool part about the journaling exercise is you can really see it from a bird's eye view, start to get curious of like, okay, where's this coming from? Right? And realize that we don't have to keep suffering. Because of that one situation, or multiple situations that happened. That's not what your true authentic self wants for you. I don't want you to have to suffer to get to your big goals and dreams. Okay. A great reframe for you is also thinking about once it's on paper, what would your best friend say to you? Right? She'd be like, girl, you are so good at what you do, because of these reasons. Like, you're the bomb.com, you are the best at this. Like you should double your prices, right? If we all ran our businesses and had the mindset as if it were like our best friend. Wow, when that'd be really cool. We pump up other people and see them for all of their beauty. But guess what, they also still have flaws, right? So the more we can give that love back to ourselves, is when you can truly transform and enjoy this process. Right? It's not just the destination of getting to your big goal. It's honestly the whole journey. It's enjoying every step of the process, right? I told you earlier. I'm going to grow until I get it right. The growth is like the big juiciness of it. Right? The person that said why is it so hard for me to make a phone call? So I'm more progressive thought is, you know what, I'm going to make a phone call fun. And I am going to do five phone calls today. And I am just going to say hi, maybe we feel like we have to sell on the phone calls. So if we just remove that and say, You know what? I'm just gonna say, Hey, I hope you have a great day. Happy Labor Day weekend. And you know, what, if you ever need XYZ, let me know, like, we could do a really, if it's more of a sales call, we could do a light sales pitch, or I would love to take you to lunch that feels more safe, right? Or I love to take you to breakfast, or buy you a cup of coffee, you know, do you have any availability coming up in the next couple of weeks? Right? So when we can start to really work through the resistance of like, okay, if I really do want to make sales calls, right? Instead of attracting, oh, this is so hard for me, why is this so hard, right, you're not gonna want to do the sales calls, right? You're not gonna want to do any calls, your brain is going to be like, this isn't safe, we don't want this, right. So we'll keep avoiding it and keep avoiding it and keep avoiding it. But when we can make it fun, right, and not make it about the outcome, then we feel safe. So to sum all of this up and put it in a really pretty bow for you, it's really creating safety for yourself. But safety is not meant to be confused with it's okay to keep self stop self sabotaging and self protecting right? To keep struggling to keep beating yourself up because these thoughts aren't serving you. Right? So if they are continue, if they're staying in your head, they're gonna keep getting in your way. Right? So we can't just be like, Oh, they're there. And I'm just gonna let them be there. We get to work through them. I almost want you to think about, you're in a room right now. Okay? Where there is clutter from left to right up to down, like you can't even get to the door, and you're in like a chair in the middle. Okay, you don't even see where the door is. How does that feel? Not good, right? Like, I'm my armpits are starting to sweat. I'm like, Oh, my gosh, that feels so suffocating. I can't even get out of the door, right? And now I want you to imagine you're in the same exact room. It may not be perfect, right? There may be a few like piles that need attention. But you can see the door. There's order and everything that's happening, right? And you're sitting there, you're like, Okay, this feels much better. Right? That's what we want your brain to feel like. And so depending on where you're at on the mindset spectrum that I asked you about earlier, there may be more work to do. Okay. But the cool part is mindset creates momentum, right? And when we can create that momentum, when things start happening in the future, it's not even going to like, oh my gosh, old me that the flat tires that happen if that would have happened. Like, let's say that happened two years ago, but if it would have happened, like five years ago, I probably would have been like, oh my gosh, like tears and like making it just a big deal. Right? It doesn't need to be a big deal. Now, sometimes in life, there are curveballs that are thrown at us, like maybe cancer or divorce, like big, heavy things. That isn't a whole different category than everyday life. Okay. So, with that being said, though, when we can have a really solid mindset, even when we have the big curveball, curveballs, we can come at them with just a better mindset, right? There may be heavier and harder to like, knock out of the park, but we can get we can like make it happen. Okay, so cool. Mindset work. Okay. You now have a tool, every time you have those thoughts and beliefs come in. Don't push them down. Don't ignore them. Don't shame yourself. I want you to write down what it is. Start to become curious of like, okay, where's this coming from? And then how can I move forward? Okay, what's one more progressive thought? And you you'll even see me. I create. I correct my words all the time. Okay, if you really pay attention, it'll probably happen today. But if you really pay attention, I correct my words all the time. That's how powerful I know my words are. Because it's not just our thoughts. Also our words, right. I'm really listening to a book right now from Kevin Hart called the decision. It's like a really good mindset book. There's so many out there but that's the one I've read listening to today. This week. And so what's cool about that is he says in this in the book, could you go a whole day without complaining? Could you go a whole day without complaining? Could you go a whole week without complaining? And he talks about in the book, if you complain, whether you think it or say it, you get to start over. So I first listened to this book when the pandemic hit. And it was a challenge. I had no childcare, my business was growing. I was so freaking exhausted. And I listened to that book. And I made it a challenge. Instead of starting over, I did push ups. So every time I had a negative thought I had to work through it, I got to work through it. And I did push ups, I wanted there to be energy around like, Okay, this is I'm getting to work through this. And I did 10 Push ups every single time. And visually, it put energy around holy shitballs. I'm actually creating my environment and complaining so much, right? So remember that room that I told you about just a couple minutes ago? Not only is our thoughts affecting that room, and either filling up the clutter or starting to organize it, but also our words, right? How often are you complaining? How often are you making excuses? Right? I want you to pay attention for a whole day. What you say? Okay, it's kind of like if you've ever done a time on it, this is like a word audit. Okay. It's called the decision by Kevin Hart, it actually is only on Audible. They don't have you, he doesn't have it as like an actual book. But in the next week, your one piece of homework so far, is doing a word audit. Okay? Where you're going to wake up, and you're like, today's my word audit day, okay. And you're going to pay attention, okay? To the words that you say all day, here's the cool part you can course correct in real time, there's no way to lose, okay, when you do this exercise, but you're going to be so aware of like, oh, my gosh, like, I'm either being super positive. And or I am complaining, I am making excuses. No wonder I feel the way I feel, right. It's really cool. Because someone in the room, whether it's in your home, or if you're in a day job and your bid and or your business, no matter what room you're in, whether it's in person or virtual, personal or professional, someone in the room gets to be the change agent to change the energy of the room. Why can't it be you we can't always control the room that we're in. But we can absolutely control the energy we bring to the room. And I guarantee you, by you choosing a more positive, uplifting energy with words is going to be so help you can literally see it change. Kind of like when the sun starts to go up versus down. Like you can start to see the light come in. Right. Everything I do is super intentional. From the minute that you got here. I had music playing. I'm welcoming you I'm asking who's here to the point of like, the shirt that I wore today was very, very intentional. Everything we do gets to be it already is intentional. You get to decide is it working for you? Or is it not working for you? Right? So whether you're being intentional or not, you are being intentional. So we want to make sure that we're being intentional, and it's actually working for us. intentionality takes effort no matter who you are. If you're tired today, it's just going to take more effort and and be like, Okay, I'm tired. I'm kind of grumpy. But let me go get a coffee. Let's like work through this right? Let's, let's make it a great day. So I want you to do a word audit. Okay? And really check in with yourself and see where we're really at. And you can course correct as the day goes on. Right? And you can really see oh my gosh, like I'm complaining a ton. I I am actually really excited, right? Our brain doesn't know the difference between nervous and excited. They're pretty much the same energy in our body. So like before I like go on Stage or do something really, really scary. I like to literally say, I'm excited, I'm excited. I'm excited, right? Because I know my body and brain don't know the difference. But if I start, if I keep tracking nervous, then I'm going to stumble and not be able to do what I want to really do, right? So even if you don't feel nervous, I really want you to lean into the excitement, energy with everything that you're doing. Especially when it's something scary, maybe you're about to make a big investment in your business, right? I want you to be like, Oh my gosh, I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. Right? If you are about to do sales calls, I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so excited, right? If we're about to go on Facebook Live, I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. It may sound so silly, but it will make a huge difference. I promise you that, okay. When we start working on our thoughts, like I told you earlier, and we start connecting them to our words, without changing anything else in our life, you are going to be a whole different human, whole different human hands down. When I started going on my personal development journey, my personal growth journey years ago, I started to make incorporate these changes. And without even saying anything, my world started to transform people started to notice they're like, What is going on? Like, you're just different, right? It's like, oh, pigs, right? Positivity is a choice, every single day, every single minute of every single day. And you can actually make a different decision right now. Maybe you had a rough morning. And you're like, I wasn't gonna show up today. But I really know I wanted to write and positivity gets to grow, right? Success breeds more success. So positivity, attracts more positivity, right? So when we can really create that positivity in your life, I like to call it like your positivity bubble. Guess what, you actually you actually repel negative people, because misery loves company. Okay. So when we start to cleanse the energy, and create your positivity forcefield, your positivity bubble around you, you're actually without even trying, are going to repel negative people. They can't stand it, right. So when you find yourself around negative people, you can remove yourself from that situation, right? And really protect yourself and it's going to make a world of a difference. Okay? I want you to write down the five people that you spend the most time with, okay? If you have children, you can clump them all together as one, okay? But the five people that we spend the most time with, are making up the sum of who we are. Okay, so who are the five people that you spend the most time with? Okay, like I said, you can clump your children together so they don't take up all five spots? Have you got like three kids? So children can be one significant other could be another one. So I want you to decide who are the five people you're spending the most time with right now. Okay, give you a second to write those down. So I can take a sip of my coffee by people we spend the most time with, let me know when you're done. Okay, cool. Does the dog count? I've gotten that question before. You can clump that with children if you'd like. But yeah, the doc does count. I think so. Okay, cool. So I want you to ask yourself in order to get my to my wealthiest, healthiest, happiest self, are these Is this my dream team? Yes or no? Is this my dream team? Yes or no? And drop in the chat what it is. Is it a yes. Or is it a no. So who gets to stay and who gets to go? You don't have to tell me on the chat. Excuse me, but I do want you to put a checkmark by the ones that get to stay and put an X by the ones that don't. This may be a really big wake up call for you. If it's a yes for everyone, awesome. That makes it a lot easier. But if it's a No that's okay too. It means we get to do we get to do some clearing, we get to do some some drafting football seasons coming up. So we have to draft new people to come into our, our top five. Okay? All right, yes, I probably need to rearrange the order who I spend the most time with. Ooh, that was a good call out. Tracy. I love that. Okay, so there's some homework here. Okay? Who gets to go and who's replacing them. So even if you don't know who it is, maybe you want a coach or a mentor? Or maybe you need a stronger team member in that role, right? Maybe you need a more positive, uplifting friend, right? Because like our personal lives affect our business and vice versa, right. So if you're around a friend, that is constantly saying she has no money, she's broke, she's miserable, right? You might not be on the same growth journey as her. The challenging part about life is that if we've had friends or people that we've been connected with for a long time, if we are continuing to grow, but they are not, then we're already out of alignment, right. And this can be a really hard thing for a lot of people because they're like, but I love that person. loving them, and giving them most of your energy are two different categories. You can love people from afar, and I give them hours and hours and hours of your time every single week. Okay, so we get to really check in with ourselves on like, if this person is the best person for you to give a majority of your time to. Okay, so we've got some work to do. I seriously love when Tracy said, I get to rearrange the order. So that also is like an alignment, right? Every single day. We're working on alignment. Okay. So with that being said, we're almost done with our mindset section. How are we feeling? Is this helpful? Yes, no, maybe. So, tell me how you're feeling in the chat. Very helpful. Yeah, that's my goal. I want it to be a good use of your time. Okay, loving it so far. Yeah. Awesome. Cool. At any point today, if you're like, can you expand on that or I want more support with that, please speak up, whether it's in the chat. Or if you just want to unmute you, like, you can't like I want this to be very interactive and very supportive to you. So at any point, if you need more, or if you've got questions, or you don't understand something, please don't hesitate to speak up and to be here. Because I want you to get so much value that you can't even stand it. Okay, so last part of the mindset section, okay. Is really deciding where we are at from a success versus failure standpoint. Okay. So, a big money block for a lot of people is fear of success. Meaning like, oh, my gosh, I'm terrified that my whole family's gonna leave me if I became my wealthiest self, right? That I would be unhappy, right? Like money is evil type of thing. So we have more fear of success, or more fear of failure, meaning, oh, I don't want to look stupid. I don't want to fall on my face. To Tracy's point earlier. Like, what if that XYZ situation happens again, right? So we either feel we either fear failure, or we feel fear success more, you can feel both and fear both. But I'm curious which one do you fear more? Is it fear of failing? Or is it fear of the success? So fear of failing is more of the journey and fear of success is more the destination. Okay. So I want to pinpoint where you're at and what is the biggest block from a success versus failure standpoint to work through that today. Okay, so I see lots of fail failing, fear of failing in the chat. Okay. So for those that said, failure, what goes through your head? I want to get in your head for a second. What goes through your head when you think fair, fear of failing, looking stupid, that's a big one. Loss of credibility. Shame. These are heavy. Alright, who else? having to start over? Oh, that's a big one. Okay. So I'm like a nerd. I'm a secret nerd. If you didn't know this now, you know, the secret is out. I love books, I listen to them more than anything because I have a crazy busy life. And ADHD sort of tells me to sit down and read a book is probably not a reality. But I love listening to books. And I equally drank a lot. So I get books done really, really fast. So there's a really good book on audio and paperback called go for know, oh my gosh, it's so freakin good, especially when you want to go for big sales goals. It's called go for know, it's 90 minutes. You can find it on Amazon and audible. But it's a 90 minute audible, so you can finish it fairly fast. So if you think about it's kind of like a movie. And if you're a fast reader, then you can read it really fast. This is something that I honestly think anyone that's in sales should read honestly, every quarter. And so it's so so good, because it shifts the mindset of failure. And so most people think success is on one side. And failure is on the other side. So if I'm starting to fail, okay, I'm starting to fail. If you look at success and failure this way, then your brain goes, oh my gosh, we're failing, we suck, we're not going to get to success. So run back. Okay, run back. So when you look at success and failure as linear, you think that the minute I'm having any type of failure is like, abort, abort, run the other way, stop what you're doing. And just go back to the the way you were living, right, the way you were being. So what he talks about in the book, and what is so cool, is really looking at it more as a vertical path. Okay. So success is at the top, failure is at the bottom, and every inch away on the way up to fail it up to success rather, is failure. Okay? We get to change the energy around failure as being bad. Okay. Failure is not bad. It doesn't mean you're a failure, either. Right? When we step into our business, I think sometimes we take so much on personally, rather than stepping out of it for a second of like, if you knew, I'm just gonna do something really fun for you. This was told to me at a conference almost a year ago, and she said at the conference, if you knew you would get on 200 sales calls. At the end of the 200 calls, you would make a million dollars, would you do it? You knew within an hour, whatever amount of time you want to do the 200 calls, you would make $1 million? Would you do the 200 calls? I'm getting some hell yeses in the chat. Girl. Yes. Here's the interesting part, though. If you knew the result, okay, will actually go up. If you knew the result, the success was already there. It was guaranteed if we don't look at success and failure as vertical and we still have the mindset of it's linear, horizontal. Okay. Then as we're making those 200 calls, okay. We're going to be like, Oh, 10 people told me no, this actually isn't going to happen. She was lying to me. It's not going to happen. I'm going to stop right there. Okay. So even if someone told you was like a genie, it was like, you're going to you're gonna do this, if we're still having the old operating system of success and failure of being linear, that they're complete opposite sides. Right? And they don't coexist. Then the minute somebody tells you, no, you are not going to like the feeling. Right? And then if someone tells you, you know, 10 times like tempt, can people tell, you know, even if that genie that fairy godmother said, no, keep going, you're gonna get to the 200. You see it with your old operating system was no, that's not true. I'm going to run the other way. This doesn't feel safe. So we get to have a new operating system of successes at the top. Failure is actually a good thing. As the more I fail, the faster I sale, I am going to get to those 200 calls and I am going to get to that million dollar mark. Right? And we can we want to we can start to have that new operating system for every no that you get on those calls, just as an example, you're gonna be like, alright, this is just a part of the process, right? You said no, that's all right. I know I have 150 more people to talk to. Right. The cool part about success and failure is that you can still win the game, right? Think of sporting teams, sometimes they don't have a perfect season, but they still get to the big championship, right? Or maybe they don't have a perfect quarter. And then the next quarter, they like shift their mindset, and they get back in the game, and they come out and win the game, right? So when we can start to really look at failure is a good thing. And I can keep course correcting and I can keep growing, I'm gonna get it, you're going to embrace the failure, he talks about in the book, that there's three levels of people, there's people that avoid failure at all costs, they will not be a part of it, it's too uncomfortable for them. They would rather stay in their dead end job, their marriage that feels awful, etc, etc, etc. Because it just they don't want to feel they don't want to feel anything that's uncomfortable. Okay, that's level one. Level two is people that tolerated enough. Okay, they tolerate it enough to get at least the next result that they need. But they won't do anything more. Okay, so they do enough to get by, but they don't do anything more. That's level two. And level three, is the people that embrace it that are failing fast, that are actually celebrating failure. They're like, Oh, I didn't close that sales goal that is or that sales call. That's awesome. I just learned a ton, right? They're the they're they're, they're the kind of like the weirdos of it all, like putting themselves out there being super extra. And like celebrating the failure. Okay. Which level do you think you're at right now? Level one, you're avoiding it at all costs. Level two, you're like, Yeah, I like I get a little uncomfortable. I'll go for a big goal, whether it's sales related or not, but I won't do more, like, I'm going to do enough to get to the next level. But I'm still gonna, like, bounce back a little bit and hide out. Level three is like you're fully embracing it, like jumping up seeking it out and loving it. Okay, level one, two, or three, most people live in level two. Okay. But just like progressive thoughts, I want you to ask yourself, how could you get to level three? Is it going for No, for a certain amount of people for the next month, the next 90 days, right? So for me, we're going for big, two big, hairy, scary goals. This, these 90 days, we're working to sell out wealth con, which is super stretchy and uncomfortable. And also filling up our inner circle. very stretchy, very uncomfortable, but so much growth, right. So when we can actually focus less on the outcome, and more on the actual journey and activities, right. At the end of the day when wealth con happens and people start filing in regardless of the number of people that are there. I want to know I did everything in my power to make it happen to live in the level three energy. Okay, if I can do that, when I can do that, I will be at peace with however many people are there. I have been really challenging myself myself specifically on Worldcon every single day I'm waking up early. Who can I ask to? Who can I ask for help. We have an ad running. We have our I've asked for speakers to help I have a planning committee. Like I am really choosing to live in level three energy. Knowing that in 40 days, I will know when I step on that stage I did everything in my power to get as many people here as possible. And it's beautiful and amazing and trusting that the people that arrived were there for a very special reason. That's how I want you to live and run your business is in level three energy. I can't guarantee that we will sell out but I can guarantee how I will show up. And the same is true with you. And the cool part about setting big stretchy goals is that you're gonna grow faster. I so often hear when people set goals also like, Okay, well, I want to be realistic. Okay, so I actually have a cool way of thinking about goal setting. And it's called Good, better and best goals. Okay, good, better and best. So for one big goal, you would actually set three milestones. Okay? So I'm gonna go ahead and get a pen and paper for anyone virtual or visual rather. Okay? So so we'll just take wealth con, for example. So selling out wealth con would be 900 people. Okay, so that's my best case scenario. Okay, is 900 people. Okay? So my good goal would be 400, because that's the first level of the theater is filling up the first level. So I'm like, at the end of the day, even if we could sell and fill the whole first level, that's a whole lot of people. That's, that's freaking amazing, right? And then we can pick a number in the middle, which would probably be about like 700. Okay. So for the same goal, actually have three milestones. This is way better than just picking this one. Okay? Because I'm going to show up so differently, if I am just setting this goal, okay, then focusing on hitting this goal right here. Okay. Very, very important. Okay. So this can really help you operate in level three energy, but also not freak your brain out either. Because all three of these scenarios are a homerun, in my opinion, okay. So a lot of times when I'm working with clients, and I see feel that like, resistance of like going for a really big goal, then we break it down. Okay, what's, what's a good goal for you for that specific goal? What's a better and best, and this has been huge, okay. Awesome. Hopefully, that's helpful to you. Okay. So I really want you to start embracing failure, and changing the energy around failure. So another example for you is, does anyone we're gonna use a strong word here, but does anyone love doing laundry? dropping me in the chat, if you're like, if laundry could just go away, I would be the happiest person on earth. So I have had a really toxic relationship with laundry. Like, it always feels revolving like it's never done. Even when I have people helped me with laundry, it still feels heavy. It still feels frustrating. So a couple of months ago, as I was feeling this way, I was just like, Okay, this is my reality. Clothes need washed, right? There's about to be a baby and another baby in the house, which means there's gonna be more laundry, right? So I'm going to be doing laundry even if I have somebody helped me. Like, there's still parts of the puzzle that I get to do, right. And so I started to change my energy around laundry. I started creating systems around laundry. So I have somebody that comes on Mondays to help me again, there's still stuff I have to do. She can't get it all done. But she helps take some of it off my plate. I bought really like fresh, like, it smells like dryer sheets that smells so good. Laundry detergent that just like makes the house smell amazing, right? And I started listening to books or watching like a TV show way fold laundry. So I changed that energy around laundry, whether it be someone else is doing it, or me or both, okay. And it changed the whole energy around it, the whole perspective around it, right? This is what I want you to do in your business and in your life. So if you don't love sales calls, how can we change the energy? If you don't love Facebook Lives? How can we change the energy? If you don't love laundry? How can we change the energy? Right? If it's something you truly do not desire to do? We can trash it too. But there are a few things in this world where we can't do that, right? So we get to decide, are we changing the energy around it? Are we deleting it? Are we delegating it? What's happening here because just choosing to suffer through anything is not good for you. Your energy is worth millions and millions of dollars. So we get to treat it as if it is millions and millions of dollars because it is okay. So lots of mindset talk. What is your biggest takeaway so far? What is your biggest takeaway so far? With mindset? Okay, we talked about success and failure not being Leonard linear, but being vertical. We're gonna, we're gonna fail faster, we're gonna celebrate, we're gonna change the energy around failure is not a bad thing. The whole world says it's bad. I want you to celebrate it. Well, I'd be like, Oh my gosh, I just fucked up. Okay, cool. I'll do better next time, right? Not Oh, my gosh, I just fucked up. I'm the worst human being ever, right? Totally different energies, the same situation, right? The difference between more successful people then you and me is they choose their reality. They choose their energy and they bounce back back faster, meaning they're not going to let it stop them, they're not going to let a no stop them, they're not going to let a situation stop them. They're going to keep moving forward as quickly as possible. Wealth loves speed. So if you keep overthinking if you keep self sabotaging, you are running away from your wealthiest self, not towards your wealthiest self. Okay. It would be a really great exercise for you to get clear this weekend. On who is your wealthiest self? How does she think? How does she act? Who does she hang out with? How much money is in her bank account? What does she do every single day? What does she wear, I want you to literally get so crystal clear this weekend on who she is. So we can actually start embracing that now. So if she wears a lot of red for whatever reason, let's start putting a red lipstick on, right? If she is the most positive, uplifting person, then let's start being positive and uplifting. Now, if she is always on time, let's be on time. If she does 10 sales calls a week, let's do 10 sales calls a week or even five to get started, right? That's moving towards your wealthiest self. As humans, as long as we see ourselves making progress, we are so much more likely to keep moving forward, kind of think about a health and fitness goal, when you like lose those first 10 pounds and people start to notice, you're like, Oh, this feels good. I don't want to stop. Right. So the getting started, the moving towards your wealthiest self, in the beginning is the hardest part of it all. But the moment you get that momentum, the moment people start noticing, you feel so freakin good. You don't want it to stop. And you're gonna move so much faster, right? So just know if we haven't gotten that momentum yet. We're calling it in, we're seeking it out. We're creating the movement. Movement is actually internal. It's not other people creating it for you, it's you creating it, right. So like today can be great momentum for you, you chose to be here. And you're hopefully going to feel really, really excited, right? Let's keep that going. Right? I intentionally put things on my calendar that I know are gonna keep me moving forward, like positive people. I'm going to a conference in a couple of weeks, right? I've got a trip coming up, I've got time off so I can rest and recharge like I'm very, very intentional with like, how I engineer my schedule to make sure that I can continue to be in that high level energy. Because our network is our net worth. Right? So making sure who is around you, including you, right? Because no matter what business you do, you're always with you. Right? So you actually as your top five should be at the top. If you didn't put yourself as number one, you get to change your top five. Because guess what, you are always stuck with you. That either is a really exciting thing, or a really scary thing. Let's make it an exciting thing. Okay. All right. So biggest takeaways, not pushing down the thoughts exploring them with curiosity. I love it creating a system around your heart, change the energy to positive. I love that. Writing down the thoughts and sitting with them not burying them and proving my circle of influence. If uncomfortable recite I am excited. I'm excited. I'm excited. I love it and just do it. Yeah. I love the quote you miss 100% of the shots that you don't take. So if we're not reaching out to people, then we don't we can't get towards that sales goal. Right. If we're not eating healthier foods, we can't go on our health journey. Right? If we're not getting really good sleep, then we're Gonna stay cranky, right? So moving towards it, taking more shots, right? And just enjoying the journey can be exactly what you need to get to your wealthiest self. Okay, so I what I want your biggest takeaway for today to be is really getting clear on who is your wealthiest self because my wealthiest self my version looks way different than yours and that's good.
